BUDGET RACING.
MAXIMUM FUN.
A group of friends racing Toyota Aygos, Citroën C1s, and Peugeot 107s on a shoestring budget. Same platform, same power, pure driver skill.
The Concept
The Toyota Aygo, Citroën C1, and Peugeot 107 are the exact same car built on the same platform — just wearing different badges. This makes them the perfect foundation for equal, affordable racing. We keep it informal, we keep it cheap, and we keep it fun.
Similar competitions exist in more formal settings, but we're doing it on an even tighter budget. No big sponsors, no expensive modifications — just friends, cheap cars, and a track.
Allowed Modifications
The cars must remain (nearly) stock. Only the following changes are permitted:
- ✓ Brake pads
- ✓ Brake discs
- ✓ Brake lines
- ✓ Brake fluid
- ✓ Tires
Everything else stays stock. That's the whole point.
Bonus Scoring Criteria
Beyond lap times, we award bonus points based on the car itself. The junkier, the better — this is budget racing after all.
Mileage
Higher mileage = more character points
Purchase Price
Cheaper is better. Budget is king.
AC
Has air conditioning? Bonus comfort points.
Doors
3 doors or 5? Each has its pros.
RPM Gauge
Got a tachometer? That's fancy.
Overall Condition
Held together by dreams and zip ties.
